Life Policy Check is a brand operated by New Media Technologies, Inc. ("we," "NWM," or "Life Policy Check"), with its principal office at 1207 Delaware Ave #4471, Wilmington, DE 19806. We are not an insurance company, an insurance agency, or an insurance broker. We are not licensed to transact the business of insurance in any state. We do not sell, solicit, negotiate, bind, or issue insurance policies, and we do not provide insurance advice, recommendations, or quotes ourselves. We operate an online lead referral service that collects limited information from consumers interested in life insurance and forwards that information to licensed, independent insurance agents, agencies, carriers, and other marketing partners ("Insurance Partners"). We receive a marketing fee from Insurance Partners for qualifying referrals. We do not charge you a fee for our services.
Any premium figures, coverage amounts, "starting at" prices, or plan descriptions shown on this website are illustrative estimates for general informational purposes only. They are not quotes, offers, or binders of insurance. Actual rates, coverage availability, issue limits, riders, and terms are determined solely by the licensed insurance carrier based on its underwriting guidelines, which consider factors such as age, sex, state of residence, health history, medical exam results, tobacco use, occupation, avocation, and prescription/MIB data. The Insurance Partner you are matched with, and ultimately the issuing carrier, has sole authority to determine eligibility and final pricing.
When you complete the quote quiz, NWM forwards the information you submit to one or more Insurance Partners whose products may respond to your inquiry. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Subject to your separate express written consent provided on the form, you consent to be contacted by Life Policy Check and by the Insurance Partners who respond to your inquiry by phone (including cell phone), autodialer, prerecorded or artificial voice, email, mail, fax, or text message at the contact information you provided, even if you are on the national Do Not Call list or a similar state list. We do not endorse or recommend the products or services of any particular Insurance Partner. Insurance is regulated at the state level. Insurance Partners are responsible for maintaining their own producer and/or carrier licensure in the states in which they market, solicit, or sell insurance, and for complying with all applicable state insurance laws and NAIC model regulations, including suitability, replacement, and advertising rules. We make no representation as to the licensure status of any particular Partner in your state; you should verify licensure with your state department of insurance before purchasing any policy.
By responding to an online form or submitting your information, you are not applying for and are not purchasing any insurance policy. No insurance contract is formed by your use of this site. We make no guarantees regarding the availability of any policy, the price you will be offered, your eligibility for preferred rate classes, whether you will qualify for simplified or guaranteed issue products, or whether any Insurance Partner will in fact contact you. Eligibility and pricing depend entirely on carrier underwriting.
You represent and warrant that any information that you provide is truthful, accurate, and pertains to you; that you are the subscriber and primary user of any telephone number or email address that you provide and have the authority to consent to its use for the purposes described; and that you are a United States resident 18 years of age or older. If your phone number, email, or other information changes, you must notify us immediately at privacy@lifepolicycheck.org.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold us, our Insurance Partners, and our respective affiliates, vendors, service providers, officers, directors, owners, employees, contractors, and agents harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, fines, penalties, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (i) any breach of these Terms by you; (ii) your violation of any applicable law; (iii) your negligence or willful misconduct; (iv) any inaccurate or misleading information you provide; or (v) your use of the website or services.
WE PROVIDE THIS SERVICE "AS-IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY. NWM DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO ANY MATTER WHATSOEVER RELATING TO THIS WEBSITE, OUR SERVICES, OR ANY INFORMATION, INSURANCE PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES PROVIDED IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
YOU AGREE THAT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NWM AND ITS AFFILIATES, MEMBERS, OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS ARE NOT LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THIS WEBSITE AND/OR OUR SERVICES, WHETHER RESULTING FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE. TO THE EXTENT THESE LIMITATIONS ARE NOT ENFORCEABLE, NWM'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED US$100 (ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS).
We may modify or terminate this website, our services, or these Terms at any time. Revised terms will be posted on this website and will apply to any use after the posting date. Your continued use means you agree to the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict of laws principles.
EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, ALL CLAIMS, DISPUTES OR CONTROVERSIES BETWEEN YOU AND US ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF THIS WEBSITE, SERVICES, CONSENTS YOU HAVE PROVIDED, OR ANY COMMUNICATION TO YOU RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE, SHALL BE SETTLED BY BINDING ARBITRATION GOVERNED BY THE COMMERCIAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEDURES AND SUPPLEMENTARY PROCEDURES FOR CONSUMER RELATED DISPUTES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION ("AAA"). THE ARBITRATION WILL TAKE PLACE IN CALIFORNIA OR TELEPHONICALLY IF THE CLAIM DOES NOT EXCEED $2,500. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NO ARBITRATION SHALL BE JOINED TO AN ARBITRATION INVOLVING ANY OTHER PARTY SUBJECT TO THESE TERMS, WHETHER THROUGH CLASS PROCEEDINGS OR OTHERWISE.
By using NWM's website or services and submitting online requests, you consent to these restrictions. In fulfilling a request to contact a consumer through our website, Insurance Partners are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as it relates to your representations and warranties and the arbitration provision.
